We recently had a customer in (we’ll call him Bill for the sake of this blog) whose Audi A3 had just turned one year old, the car being on a PCP finance policy. They’d had a phone call from Audi to say that the service was due, as per the agreement. Bill had only done around 8,000 miles in the car, so as basic service was needed to change the oil and filter, and make sure everything was working as expected.
Audi quoted Bill almost £350! Bill’s dilemma was that he thought his warranty would be invalidated by going to an independent garage like us, not realising that we would use official Audi/Volkswagen parts, and in turn keeping his warranty perfectly valid. We were able to offer Bill the exact same service, with the exact same parts, for over half the price.
